We have been building steel boats for 42 years since
the company was founded as Peter Nicholls Steel Boats in 1973.
We have vast experience in designing and building a variety
of boats, so please browse our site for what you need.

All our boats are ideal for serious long term cruising:

We offer a range of Dutch Barges, Thames barges and other wide beam barges.
Our FCN Dutch barge is fully seagoing to category B RCD.
We also can offer Huffler motor yacht or motor sailer which is equally
happy inland or offshore, and is equally happy at sea or inland.

Our steel boat range includes our Renegade round bilge 'Blue Water'
sailing cruisers, Our Mistral chined fast sailing cruiser together
with boats specifically designed with disabled people in mind.

We have recently introduced a steel kit fabrication service so if you want
a steel kit putting together, we can advise you on choice of kit and can do the work.
